GAU is structured as a node – a form in which immaterial flows converge and are redistributed: energy, movement, sound, and attention. In the space of a festival, where experience unfolds as a continuous stream of intense interactions, this node gathers the ongoing experience into a coherent whole. It shapes perception, sustains the density of experience, elicits responses, and influences the course of events.

In situations of intense collective experience, action takes on a ritual character. This is a temporary break from the everyday, in which habitual structures of perception loosen. Experience is reconfigured: movement, sound, attention, and engagement come together into a shared state, where individual experience becomes part of the collective. Here, rituality establishes a specific mode in which what is happening is lived through as shared and transformative, reshaping the state of the participants.

The artwork draws on human amuletic practices, continuing them in a different form and within a different medium. It exists within the continuity of human experience as one way of working with intense states.
