BEYOND 001 approaches navigation as an autonomous spatial environment. Signals, wayfinding systems, routes, and informational messages form a coordinate framework that shapes how orientation within space is constructed. In this context, the terminal becomes a condensed model of the contemporary world—a space organized through navigation systems, information flows, and mechanisms of coordination. Its function is to make movement predictable and manageable.

Yet the very logic of orientation contains an inherent paradox. Every map helps us find our way while simultaneously defining the limits of what can be represented within it. The work engages with this tension between the desire to render space entirely legible and the existence of that which inevitably remains beyond any system of coordinates.

The installation is composed of screens, information displays, lighting elements, cables, and suspended structures that together form a unified navigational system. Individual components of infrastructure are removed from their familiar functional context and transformed into material for spatial composition. Cables, mounting systems, illuminated panels, and informational surfaces retain their technical character while simultaneously operating as elements of a larger visual structure. The installation assembles them into a cohesive spatial image in which the language of terminal infrastructure becomes an artistic medium.
